Your Unsung Favourites
|
Putting aside the Moore's, Bond's, Brooking's and DiCanio's of this world, which West Ham player or players is your favourite or deserves more acclaim. My choice is Bryan "Pop" Robson.

I also loved David Unsworth's brief time at the club, I was gutted to see him leave

Pop Robson seems a strange choice. Growing up he was always spoken of by older fans as one of the greats.
Michael Hughes is a good shout. Also think Marc Rieper was one of the best defenders we ever had.
This'll undoubtedly get me some shit but Frank Lampard was a great player when he was with us. The days of him and Rio breaking through were very exciting times. For a while it really did look like we were destined for great things til it all went to shit.
